- 1 bag tapioca pearls find at the nearest H Mart or online
- 1 kettle hot water between 180-205 degrees
- 2 tsp Teavana black tea or green tea English Breakfast used
- 1-1/4 cups Almond Milk Unsweetened or Vanilla
- 2 tbsp Nutella or more to taste
- Boil about 30-34 oz water to fill the El Gato Malo French Press.
- Scoop 2 tsp of loose tea leaves (silky, subtle chocolate notes in the english breakfast) into the French press. Pour the just right amount of water into the French Press. Let steep for 2 minutes. No longer than 3 minutes for stronger brew. Sit tea aside.
- Add the milk and nutella to the shaker. Stir the nutella into the milk then shake.
- Pour the tea into the mixer and shake well.
- Add the tapioca pearls to the tumbler/cup and transfer the mixed bobatella. Enjoy!
COMPLETE THE EXPERIENCE
AVOID THE BAD TASTE
Do not bring the water to a full boil. Boiling for over 3 minutes on medium can flatten the taste of the water which changes the recipe taste.
2 tsp of tea used rather than 1 tsp for optimal flavor. I suggest 2 minutes steep. You can re-steep. Do not over steep, itΒ may cause bitterness.
