Are you ready for the holiday that gives you countless excuses to gulp one more drink? Yes, no? It’s a no for me, I’d much prefer to sip a classy beverage. If you’re having a light drinking evening then I suggest my St. Patty’s Strawberry Cocktail. Warning! This is for the ladies, sorry fellas. The St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail Recipe has abundant flavor and a good kick, or punch ? (whatever). This fruity cocktail is perfectly drowned with crushed ice (forgive me, I had to do it, I’m a lightweight) and topped with a fresh berry flowing more sweetness each sip. Cheers to you, cheers to me!
St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail Recipe Ingredients
? 1.5 ounces of Jameson Irish Whiskey
? 3 ounces of kiwi strawberry soda or sparkling water
? 1 ounce simple syrup or clove honey (not shown)
? 2 – 3 red ripe strawberries
? crushed ice
Directions
? In a blender add 4 cubes of ice and 2 – 3 fresh strawberries, pulse until ice and berries are crushed.
? In a cocktail shaker add whiskey, kiwi strawberry sparkling water, simple syrup, and two cubes of ice.
? Shake for 20 seconds.
? Fill a glass halfway with crushed ice and strawberries mixture.
? Strain cocktail over crushed ice and strawberries.
? Garnish with a single, whole strawberry.
? Serve.
